Optovue Autofusion OCT
The Optovue Autofusion is a fully automated OCT and fundus imaging system. With a single tap, it aligns, focuses and captures detailed 3D scans of both the macula and optic nerve — giving our optometrists a clear view of retinal thickness, nerve fibre layers and early structural changes linked to glaucoma, macular degeneration and other sight-threatening conditions. The scan is quick and non-invasive, and fits comfortably into a standard comprehensive eye examination.
Medmont Meridia Corneal Topographer
The Medmont Meridia maps the shape and curvature of the cornea with wide, limbus-to-limbus coverage. It's central to precise contact lens and orthokeratology (Ortho-K) fittings, and helps detect corneal irregularities such as keratoconus at an early stage. The Meridia also doubles as a dry eye assessment tool — measuring tear film quality, tear meniscus height and meibomian gland structure — so we can diagnose and manage dry eye with more precision.
ARK Biometer Combo
The Essilor ARK Biometer Combo brings together three measurements in one device: autorefraction (an objective starting point for your glasses or contact lens prescription), keratometry (corneal curvature, used for contact lens fitting), and optical biometry (axial length of the eye). This last measurement is particularly useful for tracking myopia progression in children and monitoring how the eye is growing over time — an important part of our myopia management programme.
