Eye care for everyone

for you and your family

At EMME Visioncare, we believe in quality eye care for all.

We are a family optometry clinic. We test for all kinds of vision and eye health problems, for both adults and children. Whether you're short-sighted, long-sighted, or have astigmatism. Whether you're 5, 45 or 70.

Even if you have good vision it's still a good idea to have your eye health checked at least every 2 years.

Don't take your vision for granted

While a lot of vision problems are correctable, some vision losses are irreversible. And sometimes vision loss is slow, gradual and without obvious symptoms until it's too late.

The only way to ensure good vision is to have your eyes examined regularly by an eye care professional, so that any potential eye health conditions are detected and treated early.

Good vision is essential for effective learning.  Children are often unaware of changes in their eyesight, struggling to see at school without anyone knowing. A baseline eye test is recommended for all children before starting school, and every year thereafter.

Adults can develop vision problems in the distance as well as at near. Regular eye tests at least every 2 years are recommended. Especially if there are any eye diseases that run in your family, such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.

Our eyes change as we age. Cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other eye conditions can develop as part of the ageing process. For this reason we recommend annual eye tests for people over the age of 60.
